Nashville- October.

We ended up with some crummy weather for our weekend in Nashville.
Since it was cold, we headed over to see the Gaylord Hotel at Opryland. They were already getting set up for Christmas.
EVERYONE wears boots here.
Over in the rainforest, we stopped for snacks.
Soon it warmed up enough to wander over to the Grand Ole Opry.
A camping trip to Nashville was one of my earliest memories of family vacation.  June was mad that Dolly Parton wasn't really here.
Papa had to get to his conference and left us with a day to fill.  We spent a long time at a Wendy's coloring, then headed over to the Pancake Pantry- which is a landmark in Nashville.  We got something stuffed with chocolate and deliciousness.
Do you know there is a full scale Parthenon in Nashville?
Cheese!
At this point, I was getting pretty tired of being out all day.  (Did I mention that prior to this weekend I was sleeping somewhere between 12-18 hours a day?)  Luckily, we stumbled across a little festival with a few free inflatables.
We also discovered Georgie's amazing hula-hooping skills.
