Now we have 3 devices we use to take pictures- the good camera, the little, easier-to-transport camera, and the ipad, which is quickly gaining ground becuase it's already connected to the internet, thus making it easier to post pictures to facebook.
Henry got this awesome Leaning Tower of Pisa from Aunt Molly and Uncle Mike and woke early one morning at 6am to build it all before the rest of us woke up.
We had our 20 week ultrasound and confirmed that the baby is indeed a pirate ghost. But once again we refused to find out the gender, infuriating most of our fiends and family.
Did I mention June is really excited about Christmas? Here's one of the many drafts of her Christmas list:
"To June From Santa.
Rapunzel, Ariel, Aurora Barbies.
The beautiful Pegasus
pink one and the blue one
The yellow and the white one
A Poochie Puppy that is
white. My own tank
of jellyfish. A light-up
crystal. A big fashion box
that has lots of fashion stuff.
And you can give me stuff that
I didn't even notice. I like you.
Love, June. To Santa. Yes. Yes. Yes.
Thank you, Santa.
"
June's friend McKain came over and spent time admiring one of our Christmas trees.
Georgie has learned to appreciate the role of nudity in comedy.
And the role of multiple lace layers in twirling.
And the role of too-small jammies in cuteness.
Some of our friends have started a tradition of an annual ugly sweater party to raise money for our local food center. This year, they secured a photo booth for the evening. Great fun was had by all, especially papa and Mister Alex in their matching leisure suits.
Seriously, we could have done this about 50 more times.
What a classy looking bunch. You might not be able to make it out, but mama had a big snowflake with a baby's head sewn on to her bell.
Mama spent her evenings sewing a quilt for our new cousin, Sam.
Isn't he cute as a button?
It was papa's turn to participate in a graduation ceremony. He sure cleans up nice.
June graduated to new levels of cute.
Georgie was very pleased with her new hand-me-down gown for her school's Christmas program.
She's on the right side sandwiched in between her friends Isabel and Magda.
