This year, the whole Parsons family met up at the beach for Christmas.
Not too many snapshots we taken, but do notice that all of them include either people holding beer bottles or mama wearing Christmas stretchy pants. It was the perfect combination of hanging out and taking naps. We even scored Uncle Mike a mason jar full of real backwoods moonshine. (We can't reveal our source.)
The girls tried to sweet talk Uncle Phil into turning off the football game and turning on a kids' movie.
Aunt Jill supervised the annual gingerbread decorating.
Our beach house had a booth dedicated entirely to crafts.
Papa stuck close to Aunt Lillie, who makes a spectacular shrimp and grits.
During the week, we had a photographer visit and take some family pictures.
We actually got a few of everyone looking.
Even though Georgie did not cooperate at all.
Grams, PawPaw and all the kids.
And a soon-to-be outdated picture of us that is still pretty good.
The other Turner crew.
Aunt Girl, Uncle Phillip and tiny baby Sammy.
