Cleaning out the toy room- November 17.

With little miss on her wy to crawling, I decided I needed to do a major sort of the toys, so I could prioritize what could be pitched and what needed to move out of Bea's way.
Lucky for everyone, amidst the stuff I found a fake mustache that, when cut in half, made excellent baby eyebrows.

This is so embarrassing!  Get back to cleaning.

That pink thing on the shelf definitely needs to go.

Inspired, Georgie got in on the mustache fun.
And Bea did finally find it in her heart to forgive us for using her as a photo prop- AGAIN.
At least she had anew toy to show for it.  This girl loves her jumper.  As long as mom stays in sight.

Macaroni and ketchup- November 11 to 16.

I love this picture.  This may be one of my favorites of Bea yet.  I could just eat that face.

And this one too.  Even if you can't see her eyes because she's growing her bangs out and refuses to wear a barrette.   I know it drives people crazy, but I've picked my battles with June and this is just not going to be oe I can win.

Especially after she wrote me this love note.  You can do anything you want, sweet Junie.

Here's a typical family shot.  June hammin it up for the camera.  Henry refusing to participate.  And Georgie looking somewhere else.

I lost all faith in my children ever having discerning palates when we went to visit our friends. While we were at Paloma and Jon's, waiting to eat foie gras and duck confit, the kids appeased themselves with plain macaroni with ketchup. Gross.  And that's from a person eating duck liver.  I'm 90% sure these children do not belong to me.

Mo Cheeks was seven months old on November 13th.!
Her favorite pastimes are mooching food, putting things in her mouth, and sucking on her own lips.

She loves the company of other kids, and if no one is around to entertain her, she better be in the arms of mom.

Sweet Bea loves her morning nap and still isn't rolling around while she sleeps, so we can still perch her on a bed.  Unfortunately for her, I have to wake her up from her morning nap to go get Georgie from school (and to ensure an afternoon nap).  Fortunately for me, I get to catch a peek of a sweet sleeping baby.

This is what a snorty, giggly 7-month Beatrice sounds like.

Anna hair- November 5 to 10.

Georgie has followed in June's footsteps and also keeps a notebook of drawings.

This is the one she drew of papa and mama.  Dad is the one with the big hair.

See?

We had the usual impromptu neighborhood birthday party for Christopher.  How can he be 5 already?

Henry and I saw another great performance at the Brooks Center.  This time is was Flat Stanley.  And from where we were in the balcony, we could see Georgie, though she couldn't see us.  It's very bizarre to see your child from far away. She sure is cute.

Speaking of cute.  This girl is so ready to start moving and get all of those little things in her mouth.  Luckily, all she can do is sit.

At least she has someone to talk to.

The elementary school had a fall festival with a photo booth.  Here's the Turner girls.  Interestingly, the favorite game of the day was a bunch of hay bails scattered on the ground with prizes hidden inside.  June and Georgie played in there for a long time.

Here's June working on her legos.  Check out that bracelet.  June is an expert in diversion.  We went through a few weeks at school when it was reported that June got very teary and missed me.  If you know June, you should know that she's never missed any of us for a minute. My theory is that it was a diversion to get out of doing work she didn't want to do.  But, in case she really did miss me, Imade her a bracelet to wear so we'd always be together.  It seems to have done the trick.

Look at Georgie's long hair.  I am going to declare this my best french braid ever. And that's even with Georgie's constant wiggling.

I had to tell her she'd look just like Anna from Frozen if she sat still.

I tried to get a picture of my two little girls one afternoon.

But the sun was really bright.  And Beatrice does not care for glare in her eyes.  She makes the same face when a camera flashes.

So Georgie posed with Grams instead, who was in town for a visit.

And Bea went back to eating grass.
