We go through trends together in this house.  Generally, Georgie likes everything June likes.  The girls all love legos because Henry loves legos.  This time June has started the trend for all the kids- Pokemon.  We hear about Pokemon all the time. 

So when Andy started planning a Pokemon birthday party, June got busy designing Andy's birthday present.  John and Katie also had a hand in this Pikachu.  June insisted I write the directions on how to build each character so Andy could rebuild them.

I especially like how she designed different parts to be replaced for each of their different moves.

Andy's party was huge fun, of course.  Everyone's favorite part was when they lost a stomp rocket on top of the shelter house and the dads climbed up to rescue it.

Henry, John, and Jame were in charge of games.  

Everyone had to play each game to earn their gym badges.

They were especially good with the younger crowd.  (i.e. They encouraged Georgie to keep trying until she won.)
