Georgie's music class- May 7th.

Georgie's school offers aftercare, and she begs to get to stay late and eat lunch with her friends who also stay.
Lucky for both of us, they started offering a once a week music class.  So on Wednesdays, Jo got to eat lunch at school and stay for class.
At the end of the year, we got to go see what they've been working on.  Their teacher was great and had so many neat ways to introduce music to the kids.

Aubrey really liked these fun tubes.

Louise, as one of the older kids in the class, had to keep everyone else in line.

Here's how they learned about changes in tempo.
Georgie had a hard time containing herself when they played the song about crescendos.   Of course Geogie wanted to turn bouncing balls into princess ballerinas.

Sweet Magda.
They used percussion instruments to make animal sounds.
And Georgie got excited.  The teacher did a great job keeping her on task, which must have been hard because it was a long class and all of the parents were there and Georgie really feeds off grown-ups who think she is funny.

Trapping a bubble in her mouth is one way to get Georgie to stop talking for a minute.
The whole class sings a song about themselves.

Louise, Aubrey, Jo, and Magda.

Behaving really wears a kid out.
