The end of May was so pleasant- maybe the nicest early summer we've ever had in South Carolina. It was warm, but not blazing, not too humid, and we had a nice breeze. Completely un-South Carolina like. So we took advantage of the weather and took Bea out for a photo shoot in some of her special outfits.
She wasn't quite so sure about getting her picture taken- not even in this pretty dress Miss Leah sent.
Next up- Mama's baptism gown that was sewn by Grandma.

Getting your picture made, as they say here in the South, is hard work. Bea loves to be outside, so as soon as we settled her down in her chair, we fell asleep for 6 hours straight. Not too bad.
All of the girls have had a chance to wear the yellow dress. Can you guess who is who? From the top left, clockwise, its: Bea, June, Mama, Georgie.
