For Mother's Day, I got the day off.
Brandon took the kids to Victoria Bryant State Park in Georgia.
They packed a lunch.
And ate creekside.
I don't think wading was anticipated, but if you don't have your suit, you just go with it.
The best time you can have in your underpants.
Of course, Georgie wanted a snack.
Next, they visited Watson Mill Bridge State Park.
Very cool!
Thanks for the day off, papa!
Bea was so mad she didn't get to go! Or she was mad because I ate cooked cabbage 5 days in a row. What NOT to do when you're nursing. The good news is that 4 days of cabbage doesn't seem to bother her too much.
I asked for a picture of the kids and I for my present. They each made their own sign. (It all says "Happy Mother's Day.")
Love these goofballs.
June also wrote a Mother's Day song for me (and all the moms out there.) Henry was a will participant in the video.
