Bea took a nap by the window and Henry joined her for a nice comparison of how big our first baby has gotten.
Later, Bea woke up for some snuggles with Grandma.
Just the same size as her baby doll!
That afternoon Bea and I drove across the Indiana border to go visit my friend Megan and her newest, Logan. At 3 weeks, he was so cuddly, though I don't give it much time before he outweighs Bea.
We were doing selfies before they were even called selfies, guys. Now there are just a lot more kids involved.
We wandered out in the yard to watch Lilly make mud faces on the tree. I couldn't get Emma to stand still long enough to take a picture.
But I did get this cute shot of them running.
On the drive back, I stopped in Hicksville for a pepsi cooler at the Dari De-Lite. Of all the ice cream stands I've been to (and that's been a lot this week), this place had the best pepsi cooler. Just the right pop-to-ice cream ratio.
The western half of the county has always been the hilly side (can't you see it) and quite pretty. There's just so much sky up here.
At the site of the old Farmer school, I stopped for a picture of the old playground equipment.
I had just seen an article online about playground equipment you never see any more. I think all of these were on the list.
