Leaving Ohio- July 13th.

After 10 days in Ney, we packed our bags and got ready to leave for our next adventure.
Grandma and Bea did some more talking.  Look at what Grandma can get Bea to do!
We visited our friends, the Bockeys, in Delphos and forgot to take any pictures.  But we did get one picture of JoJo by their lake.  (I say we have the next campout at their house!)
We also hit up the local ice cream bar in Delphos.  Don't let these sassy kids distract you- there were at least 10 cars lined up to get into this place!

We met up with Grams and PawPaw and said goodbye to June and Georgie.  Then we took off with Henry and Bea and headed west.
We arrived in Chicago at 11pm and couldn't resist the chance to go downtown.

I admit- I love Chicago.  It feels so much more like a city than DC.

Probably because of all the skyscrapers. And the complete lack of any parking whatsoever.

But at 11pm, we were able to find a good spot close to Millenium Park.

Henry was very impressed with the Bean and more with the fact that we parked under a train track.
Bea wasn't nearly as excited about the detour.

We miss you, Chicago!

And we wish we could have spent more time.  But we had to continue our journey west to an even better place.
