Portraits- Henry.

I love setting up self portraits with the camera.
This is a good one of my by our beautiful tree and the bookshelf with a missing door thatmama got at a garage sale for $2.
Here's a video I made of the tree.

Now that I'm almost 7, I've been requesting parenting lessons so I can be ready to be in charge of the girls (and my own kids someday, which I determined will probably come when I'm 13.)  Mama thinks this is an early bid to get legitimate cause to boss the girls around.  Mama said no because it breaks the cardinal rule of the Turner house (and the most abused which leads to much squabbling)- "Worry about yourself."
In an uncharacteristic moment of cooperation, we dragged the kitchen chairs into the toy room and set up a fort so we could watch videos.
Look at that!  June and I are even touching without fighting!
June had her school pictures taken.  We watched the Ramona and Beezus movie where Ramona had her hair curled for her pictures.  June asked for the same.  Since mama doesn't have a curling iron, we settled for bumpy hair.

I ate up getting my pictures taken.  I talked about this pose for a long time.
I could have done this all day, but they made me get a picture with my sister.  Well, they tried to at least.  They tried three times.  After school, mama and papa came in and we tried again.
This was the best they got.  Yes, Georgie is eating crackers.  How unprofessional.  It goes without saying that her pictures were so bad they didn't even bother sending any home.
This one seems more appropriate anyway.  Man, this kid is gross.  Though mama says when I was her age, runny noses didn't bother me and I'd just wipe it away until my whole face was crusted with snot and dirt.  Georgie, though, doesn't like it and demands to have her nose wiped often.  This makes for a very chapped nose and cheeks.
