We didn't bring any Christmas decorations up with us, but we did talk Grams into bringing us one of their old trees. And once a tree comes into our house, it gets decorated, even if it's November 10th.
Since we don't have any decorations, we had to make our own. We made garlands out of this fun macaroni mama found at the Indian grocery.
Ready, set, decorate!
We picked pinecones up too.
Henry's hanging up his admission pin to the Capital Fringe Festival next to the quilt square I made at the Islamic Festival we went to this fall.
The bat nub from the Louisville Slugger Museum goes up next to the medals from the race we ran this fall.
When we were done, mama wanted a picture. I yelled "Avengers Assemble!" and we all struck our superhero poses.
(We're really into the Avengers cartoon on Netflix right now. I talked about it with Grams while she combed my hair after my bath.)

These turned out fairly well, though we never got one where all of us are looking and smiling at the same time.
At least I look cute.
This one turned out to be everyone's favorite. How am I supposed to live with this goofballs?
