After we peeled Jo off the floor, we piled into the van and headed back to Ohio for Thanksgiving. We pulled into Uncle Kevin and Aunt Elizabeth's house at 2 am. And for our first trip to Ohio from DC, can we just say that 8 hours feels so much easier than the normal 10 hour drive.
We got a beautiful 60 degree day to spend with our cousins. Oliver and I got a little slaphappy. It's rough being the only boys in a see if girl cousins (don't forget, there's 7 of them).
June was SO HAPPY to see Tessa. They immediately disappeared upstairs and we barely saw them for the rest of the day.
Tessa took June's lead and put a skirt on over her jeans.
Oliver and I also chose matching ensembles- our tie-dyed shirts from Grandpa's 60th birthday party weekend. It might be time to have another theme party. Our shirts are getting pretty small.
Mama asked us to make a bunch of different faces. Oliver's all looked alike. Angry.
Sad.
Happy!
We could have played outside all afternoon. What luck to have such a great say over Thanksgiving weekend to hitch up a wagon to a tricycle and haul our little sisters around.
