Papa surprised everyone tonight by taking off the side of my crib and making my bed into a big girl bed.
And I surprised everyone by making it look like I actually have some hair. (It's all an illusion.)
While June ponders the kind of mischief we can get into now that I'm not caged, check out how the big kids have been decorating their bunk bed. It is decked out in stickers and pictures.
"Kissy, mama!"
Seriously, we're going to make so much trouble.
I was pretty excited to sleep in my bed and even seemed to heed mama's warning about not getting out.
There is one big advantage to a big bed- instant access to cuddling.
The transition has gone very well. I do stay in my bed when I am supposed to and I don't fall out too much when I'm sleeping. The main problem we seem to have is that June and I go through about 30 minutes of singing and yelling every night at bedtime. Then June settles in to read some book and I continue making trouble and being loud. Mama says she's going to move my bed into the closet.

Christopher has made the big bed transition too. I've been meaning to post about it. It's going well for us too. Whew!
