More snow- February 24-27.

There were tears in the Turner house.  And not because of the upcoming snow storm that was predicted to drop blizzard levels of snow!  (They always predict at least 10 inches and we always get one.)
No, Georgie was crying because this week she painted hard boiled aggs with watercolors for Easter.  And then I had the nerve to eat one.  Meanest mom ever.

When we did get our 1 (maybe 1.5) inches of snow, schools were cancelled for 4 days and mom headed out to find someone to play with.  Maddie was out trying to make the world's biggest snowball.  Which isn't easy with only 1 inch of snow.

John and Christopher jumped in to help.  They honestly pushed this thing around half the neighborhood.

It was good fun until we realized they'd pushed it through dog poop and it was all over Maddie's coat.  Gross.
I'm pretty sure this picture was from the last snow storm, when we tried to go sledding with a thin layer of ice.  (You take what you can get down here.)  But it's pretty cute, so I'll put it in here so it makes it on the blog.

After the kids tired of snow, they came in to play minecraft.  I was especially pleased because they incorporated the Princess Bride and Lord of the Rings into their world.

I tried to do some cleaning, but contemplated the cost of accidentally vacuuming up legos and gave up.

I'm not sure what Beez was crying about, but it does seem very heartbreaking.  Probably it had to do with being strapped into a van that wasn't moving yet.  Beatrice does not care for idling.

To make up for that sad picture, here's a happy video of playing with dad.

And a cute picture of June's new short hair.
Georgie's hair is getting long.  Aunt Molly and Uncle Michael sent down a rainbow hair extension for June's birthday.  Georgie let me braid it into her hair and I think it looks awesome!

Selfies with my sweet Georgie.

I missed posting this viedo of Beatrice from the end of January.  But you don't want to miss this big belly and cute spits.
