We were invited to the Chinese New Year celebration at the Clemson Chinese Christian Church (Brandon loves that- CCCC).
Luckily, we had our Chinese New Year clothes ready for the occasion.
Don't worry. We layered turtlenecks and tights underneath it. It's still really cold and windy down here. We're not used to multiple days of temps below 40, let alone weeks!
Yet our kids still manage to spend their time mostly naked. Being absolutely adorable.
Of course June is wearing a strapless beach cover-up. Thanks for the cool suitcase, Grams!
We had to really bundle up to go stand outside to sell Girl Scout cookies. Apparently, 1st grade is when you become too cool to wear a hat when you're outside for 2 hours and it's 30 degrees.
Later, we went to a birthday party for our friend, Abby. Abby's parents throw awesome, whole-family birthday parties. This year they had a Frozen-themed dance party at the local dance studio.
Georgie was super into it. So many Frozen songs.
And fun games.
Plus Georgie was always right up front, so there were lots of cute pictures taken.
They also caught this moment when June and I were practicing our "Statue of Liberty" pose.
But when it came down to the dancing, June wasn't quite as enthusiastic.
In the end, Georgie downed a pixy stick. (Why is it so hard for kids to not put their mouths on them?!)
And June consulted with Marion and Helen.
