While I was gone and hiking- January 29 to 31.

While I was in London, the kids had some adventures of their own.  Bea spent a day with Miss Paloma.  Check it out- she's gone Tia in a carrier on her back and Bea on the front in another carrier!

Georgie and June spent an afternoon with their friends Marion, Laurel, and Helen making 

I cam eback from London with presents.  Hello Kitty always goes over well, even if there is nothing British about her.

Bea got some new burp clothes from Miss Zuzana.  Aren't they cute?

Guess who was so glad to see her mama?  This belly.  

While I was gone, Beatrice refused to take a bottle, sippy cup, breast or syringe of breast milk, formula, water, or juice. Poor kid had to subsist on applesauce, cheerios, and cheek reserves.

Thank goodness those cheeks lasted a whole week.

The end of January was nice and cold.  Refreshing considering the rest of the year is so hot.  So we forced everyone out for a hike.

To a waterfall.  Look at how excited they are.

The 95% of the path is fairly flat and easy.  But when we get to the waterfall, it gets exciting.

Steps all the way down!  I can't believe I did this with the three big kids 9 months pregnant last year.

We hiked with our friend Miss Claiborne, Sylvia, and Amelia.  

But it was really cold and Georgie was just not having it so we walked back before the rest of the group.

At least I had someone soft to keep me warm.

Last, we had a night out with some friends.  Miss Nicole took great pictures of us.  This is Bea and Abby.

One more thing....

Mom was cleaning out under the couch when she pulled out something gray and hard.  It turned out to be a petrified frog.  She ran around the house screaming for a while, but did keep the frog for us to see.  And you know she took a picture too.  Scroll down if you have the guts.

You can believe she's not putting her hand under the couch anymore.
