The big day!- June.

Mama spent the night in a hotel with Aunt Jill and Aunt Katie.  Then they headed straight for the beauty salon.

She was lucky enough to have two people to work on her!
How pretty!
Then makeup!
Have you figured it out yet?

Mister Phillip and Aunt Jill got married!  This has proven to be a major turning point in my life and now EVERYTHING is about weddings.   Let's see how everyone else cleaned up.
Georgie put on a pretty dress, then cried for the next 5 hours, as my excellent parents forgot to bring her nukie and blankie for a wedding smack dab in the middle of naptime.
I also got a dress.  AND I got my hair curled.  But like all Seibert hair.  It held the style for about 15 minutes before returning to it's natural stick-straight ways.  The look I'm giving right now is from when Aunt Jill asked me if she looked like a bride.  I very matter-of-factly said, "No.  You don't have a veil.  You CANNOT get married without a veil."  I then got so excited about everything I peed on the floor of the church.  Good news, it was after the wedding.    (At this point mama was ready to get rid of both of her daughters who, in her eyes, practically disrupted the whole ceremony.  Thanks for being so understanding, Aunt Jill and Uncle Phillip.)

Henry proved to be handsome and reliable.  And by reliable, we mean he stood still at the front of the church then gorged himself at the chocolate fountain.
Dash grabbed a quick nap before the wedding and was a riot during the reception.  He was sliding all over the dance floor, just like little boys should at a wedding.
And Sadie was sweet and perfect and made this side of the Turner family look like a bunch of neanderthals.  (Plus, she had great hair.)
Let's get this party started!
Mama remembers distinctly being at a wedding at this age and also wandering onto the dance floor to admire a bride during the dancing.  Granted, that bride was wearing long puffy sleeves and a hat.
After the father-daughter dance, Georgie took a turn with PawPaw.
When the mother-son dance started, Georgie was exhausted and passed out right on the dance floor.  (Thank goodness papa ran home for dry tights for me and the blankie and nukie.)

Mama's big surprise for the day was that she set up a photo booth, complete with props.
After some warming up, everyone really started to get into the spirit.
Starting to loosen up...

No surprise the Aunt Jill and Henry both spent a lot of time hamming it up.
Dasher and AJ.
Aunt Jill and Unkie.
Aunt Katie and Uncle Adam.
Uncle Cole and Dasher.  (Big thanks to Uncle Cole, who spent the bulk of his day entertaining kids.)
I don't know who these guys are.
The Cooper ladies:  Aunt Tia, Grams, Aunt Jane and our cousin Payton.  (Crazy big thanks to Payton for putting up with a crying JoJo for a long time.  This girl should open a daycare, she's so good.)

The bridesmaids get sassy.
You can call him "Professor."

PawPaw, Grams, and the happy couple.

And maybe the greatest picture of GG ever!
Uncle Mike and Aunt Molly.
Seriously, these two were in the room all night!
When we weren't taking pictures, we were out tearing up the dance floor!
Father-daughter dance, part 2.

Before we knew it, the party was over and Uncle Phillip (literally) had to carry Aunt Jill out of the reception. Congratulations, Aunt Jill and Uncle Phillip!
