Pizza field trip.

Georgie's preschool class took a field trip to make a pizza at a local brick oven pizza place.
It really shoes that we never take the kids out to eat, because when we got there, Georgie screamed "Pizza!" and would not have any talk about having to wait for the pizza to cook.  Luckily, there were stickers.
The kids each got to make their own pizzas.
Georgie did not want to spread the sauce place the cheese, but did like laying down all the pepperonis in a huge clump.
Her buddy Yohansh was a much better sport.  These two have been forced to be friends because I'm close with his mom and we visit their house often to have playdates and so I can eat her delicious Indian food and pick her brain to get mine to taste that good.  They like each other, but have been known to have some big rows.  Generally, Yohansh is not used to having other kids at his house playing with his toys, and Georgie is quick to plant her feet and fight tooth and nail for a toy.  I find it pretty funny, because when Yohansh gets mad, he yells "Georgia!" and then spews off at her in Hindi.
The kids got to see the brick ovens where the pizzas were cooked, but Haylei and Jo were too busy making each other laugh.

After the pizzas were served and the kids had their fill, they needed a little distracting.  So their teacher, Miss Bea, lined them up and started a train.

(Side note:  Anush is standing right behind Jo.  For ease, Georgie has a system for naming people.  She calls all adult women "Mommy,"  all adult men "Daddy,"  all girls "Haylei," and all boys "Anush."  I remember June did the exact same thing when she was that age.)

From the front of the train:  Jo, Anush, Sabrina, Caroline and Yohansh.
What a fun morning!
