The big Day- July 26.

Brandon got to do some hiking while the rest of us were taking care of wedding things.

You guys are lucky we even came back from Colorado.

It's beautiful.

We can see why so many people vacation there. 

And we weren't even there in the winter.

Back to the main event.  We had the entire bed and breakfast rented out, plus many of the surrounding vacation houses.  I was up early ironing table runners on the big day and came back to this handsome man playing mandolin to a baby on a balcony.  See what I mean about almost running away?

But not it was time for the work to start.

Back to the official photographer.  Bea won the day for laying on the floor for 5 hours straight and just being wonderful in general. I made the cake topper out of fabric I used for the table runners.

Queen looked lovely in her dress.

The wedding was really fun, if a little hot. 

And these two were adorable and cute.  This was a seriously joyful wedding, guys.  They shouted "I do."  It even made my cold heart melt a little.

Once the ceremony and pictures were finished, it was time to do some serious partying.

I swear we didn't make Matt hold the baby the whole night.  The best part about having everything at a bed ad breakfast?  We were able to put Bea in our room and we could hear her from the reception if she cried.  Best wedding ever.

Parent Detour- Colorado!- July 24-25.

Before Grams and PawPaw could change their minds, we dropped off the three big kids and sped off to Detroit, where we hopped a plane to Denver. 

Bea was stowed for a little while, but we grabbed her before we left the airport.  

We've never been to Colorado before, but the mountains west of Denver are spectacular.  

Just beautiful.

Not to rub it in, but this was the view from our room at the bed and breakfast.

I swear we ween't out there just for fun.  There was business to be done- like getting these two hitched.  Elizabeth (known affectionately as Queen to the Turners) was the Maid of Honor in our wedding and we were very excited to be a part of her wedding to Matt.

And we were very, very excited that everything was going to happen on this little piece of paradise high up in the mountains.

Seriously, how's about this grassy meadow as the perfect spot for a wedding?

Because no Stamberget woman gets married without a weekend of festivities, the first night started off with a rehearsal dinner and a talent show.  (I got these pictures from the photographer's blog.) Bea is featured prominently in many of the photos because she was passed around to everyone all weekend.  There's a benefit of being the only baby at a wedding.

I don't want to say that we won the rehearsal dinner talent show, but we did put on a pretty romantic mandolin version of "Islands in the Stream" that brought the house down. 

Turner Endless Summer Stop#874- Back to Columbus- July 20-22.

Back in Columbus, we crashed at Uncle Adam and Aunt Katie's house.  

This kids all had big plans to sleep together.  Dash asked to be moved to another room pretty quickly and Georgie later had to be moved because she just wouldn't stop talking.  Notice that they all slept on the floor. No one would sleep in the bed.

Beatrice started to come awfully close to rolling over.  Luckily for us, she won't progress past this point for several more weeks.

O her belly or her back, she is still super cute.  I believe this was taken on her 100 day birthday.  Here's to 1 million more with those cheeks.

I hope the kids all remember how much they love Bea when she's older and getting into their stuff.  Because they all dote on her like crazy.  Down to arguing over who she's going to look at from her car seat.

The girls set up with journals and Hello Kitty stationery out in the back yard.  And fancy dresses, obviously.

Dash's dinosaur tried to eat everyone's letters once or twice.

Don't let anyone tell you that a fancy dress means you can't climb a tree.  Even if that fancy dance costume leaves the entire tree, house and car absolutely covered in glitter.

Next up, Cleveland!- July 18-19.

From Madison, we headed straight to Cleveland.  

Name two better cities to be at in one day.  I don't think you can.

At GG's house, Georgie got an early birthday cake.

This was accident, but I uploaded a video as apicture and it turned the video into this adorable gif. Try not to watch it 20 times.  Almost 4 looks good on JoJo.

And Georgie wasn't upset to find out that she got an early birthday present too.

Next, we headed all the way over to the East side to visit the 601 Gang at Paul and Suz's new house. There was football, wiffle ball and kickball.  It took less than 5 minutes for me to get hit in the head with a wiffle ball.  No surprise there.

This is the first time that we've all been together in a few years and there have been some changes! Oliver is 3 months older than Bea.

And has a good 10 pounds on her too.

And any day, Walter will be a big brother.  Looks like we need to plan another party soon!

I won't lie, it's nice that everyone else is starting to have kids!

Before we left Cleveland, we got a shot by GG boy's tree.  Look how much everything has grown since last year.

Capitol Farmer's Market- July 16-17.

We weren't in Madison on the weekend, so we couldn't go to the best Farmer's Market in the world.

But we did make it to a Wednesday market- where we obtained some squeaky cheese curds!

Henry wanted to see the Capitol one more time.  Then he took over sling duty for the rest of the walk.

It's a good thing Grandma Seibert got Bea this warm outfit, because it was actually cool enough in Wisconsin to warrant a sweatshirt in the morning!

Afterward, Henry, Bea and I took a walk down Picnic Point, a long strip of land that juts out into Lake Medota for a great view of downtown.

This was always something I wanted to do in Madison but never got around to doing because taking a two-year-old on a two mile walk next to water- well, it wasn't a priority.  It was much more fun with an eight-year-old though.

In the afternoon, we picked rented a paddleboat on Monona Bay- a dream come true for Henry and I.  Because paddle-boating is seriously fun!

And to round out our day, we headed back over to the old neighborhood to see Henry's first friend- Huntley!

We braved the mosquitoes to go see the old playground.  (They were still awful!!) 

Henry and Huntley bonded over Skylanders and a general sense of 8-year-old goofiness. 

And I was glad to see my friend Karen again.  We met at a hospital New Mom's group when Henry was 6 weeks old. 

It was great to be back in Madison.  I hope it's not another 6 years before we see it again!

To complete our Wisconsin experience, we stopped at the world's largest Culver's!  Butter burgers and custard for everyone!
