Daisy Tea Party- December 15 to 19.

At Henry's school, each grade has a particular seasonal performance.  This year, 4th grade perfrormed a Christmas program.  (I guess with bigger schools, they can't do a school-wide program like we did when we were kids.)  If you look hard, Henry is in the second row, directly behind the kid with the red and black plaid shirt (who happens to be Henry's friend Jasper).

June's Daisy Troop hosted a fancy tea party and Georgie got to tag along.

I made proper British shortbread, but I don't think the girls cared that it was authentically British and would have preferred brownies.  They also tasted mint tea.  My girls, at least, hated it.
Georgie's preschool class is doing a Flat Stanley project.  He came along for the party before we shipped him to England to Magda.

"Make New Friends, but Keep the Old."  Sung in a round.
Georgie is learning the girl scout circle of friendship in preparation for when she gets to be a Daisy.

Check out Georgie's awesome skirt!  It lights up!

Why am I so happy?  Because I'm at the Kenny Rogers Christmas show!

I was supposed to go with my firend Marissa, but her baby had to go and be born early.  I took Brandon instead.  Let's just say he wasn't quite as excited as Marissa and I would have been.

Dad and Bea cuddling on a chilly morning.  It's chilly, but not so cold that we actually put coats or long sleeves on our babies to take them out to the car.

Dad and mini-Dad.

Georgie was so pumped that Aunt Jenni sent a (size 2) jean jacket that she insisted on wearing it over her pajamas.  Bedtime never looked so good.  She modeled it when she came out of her room for the 30th time to ask us to roll up her blankie.

EDS always sends home Christmas ornaments with the kids' pictures.  Can you believe Georgie has changed this much in only a year?  She sure is fun now that she's 4.  I can't believe the terror that was 2-year-old Georgie even existed.
And, just so I can brag, here is our Christmas tree.  I think it's safe to say that it is literally DRIPPING in ornaments.  We also have a 6 foot tree and two 3 foot trees the kids decorate and we're pretty close to capacity.  I need to start planning where to fit our next tree.
