Early April.

Since it was just weeks before our new baby was due, mama suddenly felt the urge to finish up a few projects.
Let me assure you that it took both John and Henry to get me out of this position.
But the finished result was worth it.  Henry's old bike broke this spring.  We found this one at the thrift store and fixed it up.  We spray painted it orange and added black stripes with tape.  Then we swapped out the seat from his old bike.  PawPaw and Henry later replaced the pedals and the handlebar grips.  Now it's a pretty sweet ride!

You may remember when we staged this shot before Georgie was born.  I was a lot less sweaty this time.  This is me at 39 weeks.
June's class spent some time studying the Presidents.  She says Abraham Lincoln is her favorite and insists on calling him "Abe" like they are friends.  In her drawing here, titled "All About Abe,"  she explains that "he freed the slaves."  And I guess he did it by himself in his top hat as he yells "Shoot the cannons now, please!"

Next up, "All about George."   "He freed the people from the mean king of England." Also fond of cannons, he was decidedly less polite and he just bellowed "War!"
At 39 weeks, we took one last picture as a family with 3 kids. The girls were going to spend spring break with Grandma Cooper and Aunt Jill at the beach.
Georgie fit just right over my belly.
Neither June nor Georgie were torn up at all about leaving for a week.  They know that a week with Grams and Aunt Girl is infinitely more fun than a week at home with a grumpy pregnant lady.
Henry was sticking around home, but also had a big week of spring break camp planned.
Who knows what these two might be up to?
